You didn't read Anne of Green Gables?!?!? OMG that is the best book... EVER!!!! I even went to PEI just to see the authoress' house. I am that lame. (or that awesome?!?!)

@jane--I will put Anne of Green Gables at the top of my ever long reading list! & dont fret, because I'd do the same thing if I ever got to bath--I'd visit Jane Austen's old home. Guess that makes us awesome.

what is sad is the fact that i have about 80 to 85 of these at my house and i just haven't read them due to lack of interest. i think i think of the ones i haven't read as distinctly female in their intended audience, so i just don't read them. my loss probably....
